You do not need to actually take any action, by speaking to one of our advisers. It may be the case, that you are considering taking action, but would like to know what it would involve before you actually make a decision. This is fine. Making an appointment and taking advice, does not commit you into taking any action until you are ready.

The people that work within this company are all local and originate from working class backgrounds. We all speak with a local accent and do not use jargon or big words that most people wouldn't understand. Furthermore, we do not speak in the politically correct manner that at times,  can appear more important than the actual problem! We much prefer to speak in plain Yorkshire, and focus on your actual problem!

Our advisers have lived through many of the issues that we now support our clients in and so understand the situation from first hand experience.  Should you have the need to speak with one of our advisers, you can be assured, your adviser will be on your wavelength and will be most understanding of your life and the difficulties you are experiencing.

In addition, your appointment will be in your own home, avoiding the need to travel. However, if you would rather your family didn't know you were seeking advice, we can meet anywhere that is comfortable for you, even if this is a cafe, or a bar. We will do our utmost to make the situation as easy as possible for you.

It should be noted, that we do not undertake any court work, as this involves quite high costs and we would be unable to provide our service for such a low fee. However the vast majority of cases can be resolved without the need for Court action.

However, regardless of whether or not your case comes to court, we will  provide all of the advice, guidance, steps to take, forms to complete etc, that you would generally pay a solicitor £170 per hour for, prior to attending Court.

Only at the stage where your case would come to court, would you need to appoint a solicitor. Up until that point, we would do all of the work/advice for a fraction of the cost of a solicitor. In addition, we will complete any necessary paperwork of forms for you, for the same low price.

Furthermore, if you merely require advice or guidance, then you will never need to appoint a solicitor, and will save quite a large sum of money, by bypassing a solicitor and instead having an appointment with one of our advisers.

Since legal aid was abolished for most area's of the law in April 2013, legal advice is now out of reach for many people, as solicitors fee's are way too high. As a result of this, waiting lists for citizens advice are now exceptionally long, since this is now the only option for many people.
However, we are able to offer an appointment within 48 hours of contact, and will only charge you £45 for a one hour appointment.
